today is charlie's birthday! him n sci fi are comin to my friends-of-olympia' hang-spot on fir st. where there's been sum morning sun but not enough for really gettin sunn'd out,, so what?? they gonna hit up rainbow gathering with big Trip n i'm gona try'n record bass'y tracey stuff at a girl's house by the graveyard,,
best of luck to the russian tsarlag, shv, secret boyfriend tour!! was a fun living room engagement in olympia -turn'd out to b their 1st of the trip-- and some wonderful ideas were presented intimately and, as carlos sed, "as honestly as possible." the opening dude, gosh i wish i could tell the name, but he performed two excellent pieces, during the second of which his dad was over the phone discussing audience-chosen topics such as economics and what his son, the performer, was like as a child while the dude made bread sculptures. things really heated up tho when he started talkin about the red sox,,
recent action in the bay at vietnam, oakland was TOOO FUUUN!! fortunate to've been able to work helpin set up the summer at main-daddy northern california farm for a month and then squatin out a basement,, and hopefully it's still there when papa will gets back with his detergent! a seriously fun spot that has inspired me a great deal recently thanks to the pranky freax of our parallel diaspora.
